Prolonged exposure to stress and uncertainty can disrupt sleep, diminish the immune system, and inhibit our ability to form bonds with other people. Restorative yoga may offer an antidote, as the practice creates the conditions needed to relax the body, normalize breathing, and expand space between you and your mind. As the nervous system quiets down, we’re better able to manage our fears and keep our attention focused on that which we care about most.
Please enjoy a free, 45-minute restorative yoga class led by Michael Simpson. Come rest in a safe, welcoming, inclusive, diverse, non-partisan environment.
Sunday, Nov. 3 and Monday, Nov. 4 from 6:30 to 7:15 pm
